Boston bombing trial: 14 facts in 45 seconds

The Verge reports Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, one of the two men behind the Boston Marathon bombing, has been found guilty of conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction along with 29 other charges, making it possible that he will face the death penalty.

2nd arrest made in connection to murder of DC lawyer

Dominique Johnson, 19, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery.  Last week,  we reported that Johnson appeared on Jamyra Gallmon's google page and she was also listed as a party in a complaint against Gallmon . Johnson is reportedly the girlfriend of Gallmon.  The suspects lived together on Good Hope Rd. in Southeast, DC.  Neighbors say that the suspects had heated arguments in the past couple of weeks.  They were in court being sued by their landlord last month. The National Law Journal reports that the Metropolitan Police Department did not immediately provide details about Johnson's arrest or her role in the events that led to the murder of Messerschmitt.

Justice for David Messerschmitt! It has been nearly 2 months since the murder of David Messerschmitt.  21-year old Jamyra Gallmon of Southeast, DC.  After 2 months without an update, the public is conducting an in-depth investigation of the suspects past: Police investigation found Messerschmitt posted a personal ad on the Craigslist website the day he was killed soliciting responses from other men.  Messerschmitt communicated through Craigslist with a person using username 'chrissanchez0906'.  Police learned that the account was linked to Gallmon. The 21-year old appeared in court on Thursday and her lawyer entered a not guilty plea on her behalf.  During the search, police found a folding knife and a pack of zip ties.  Zip ties were also attached to Messerschmitt's fingers when they found his body on February 10, 2015.  The zip ties were affixed together into makeshift handcuffs according to court documents.
