Reaction To The Supreme Court Decision on Same-Sex Marriage
The Supreme Court's 5-4 ruling Friday that the Fourteenth Amendment requires all 50 states to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples led to reactions from numerous religious groups.
Russell Moore, President of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of Southern Baptist Convention provided the following reaction:
Mary Bonauto, Civil Rights Project Director at Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders wrote a great article in regard to the decision. She was lead counsel in Goodridge and argued before the Supreme Court in April.
